The Itinerary 

 

Day 1: Epidaurus Arrival

Arrive at Athens airport (ATH) and be greeted for transfer to Marina Alimos via taxi or shuttle.

Boat check-in: 2:00 pm Set sail from the marina at 5:00 pm, heading towards the charming town of Epidaurus.

Indulge in your first swim in the invigorating Mediterranean waters and explore the archaeological wonders of Epidaurus, home to one of the most extensive ancient sites.

Conclude the day with a delightful Greek feast at a renowned local tavern, where Henry Miller once reflected, "The road to Epidaurus resembles the path to creation. A journey that quiets the search, leaving one immersed in the silent beauty of mysterious beginnings."

Day 2: Discover Poros

Visit the ancient theater in Epidaurus, where Hippocrates advocated retreating from the city in times of dis-ease.

Engage in tai chi and delve into the art of Sand Painting. Cruise to the sunken city cove for an exhilarating snorkeling experience.

Arrive at the picturesque island of Poros, offering a leisurely waterfront stroll and an opportunity to savor the pleasures of Mediterranean cuisine!

Day 3: Explore Ermioni

Begin your day in the charming fishing port of Poros, savoring a delectable, locally sourced breakfast aboard.

Embark on a sailing journey to Ermioni, a serene town nestled on the peninsula, known for hosting the world's inaugural regatta.

Participate in tai chi and meditation at one of Athena's oldest temples, immersing yourself in the tranquility of this historic location.

Day 4: Explore Spetses

Navigate to the storied island of Spetses, renowned for its sophisticated ambiance characterised by magnificent Mediterranean mansions and a peaceful atmosphere devoid of cars.

Drop anchor in a secluded cove for a night immersed beneath the sparkling stars!

Day 5: Hydra Discovery

Embark on a sailing journey to the remarkable stone-built town of Hydra, celebrated for its crystal-clear waters, absence of motor transportation, charming villages, global art galleries, and captivating architecture.

Hydra exudes a mystical energy, as an island without roads or cars, relying on donkeys as the primary mode of transportation.

Day 6: Aegina Delight

Drop anchor just beyond the scenic port of Aegina, immersing ourselves in the lively ambiance of local restaurants, shops, and cafes.

Aegina holds a significant place in Greek history, actively contributing to the Greek Revolution against the Turks. From 1827-29, the island served as the capital of the partially liberated Greece.

Notably, Aegina was a cherished residence and writing retreat for Nikos Kazantzakis, the prolific author of masterpieces like Zorba the Greek, The Last Temptation of Christ, and more.

Day 7: Kalamaki

Farewell Commence the day in Aegina with a visit to the impeccably preserved Temple of Afea/Athena.

As we navigate back to the port, indulge in some last-minute souvenir shopping before setting sail to reach Kalamaki in the late afternoon.

Conclude our journey back in Athens at Marina Alimou. You have the option to spend the night aboard the boat or arrange accommodation near the airport (not included).
