Ray Crist

Founder of the Jaguar Path


Ray has spent the last two decades immersed in yoga. He traveled extensively through Mexico and Peru in search of indigenous healers. An apprentice of three shamans from lineages as old as the Inca civilization and the Amazon jungle shamans. Ray has a background in Chinese medicine, martial arts, Reiki and currently presents workshops and teaches at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.

He offers trainings and retreats throughout the world, teaching how to use shamanic tools, and yoga to live a balanced and empowered life.

He explores life and travels making life a luminous experience. He is a sailing boat captain, surfer, diver, snowboarder, and loves sharing his inspiration through yoga, shamanism, sailing and martial arts.

Nina Henrikson

Young Master Nina Henrikson is a black belt martial arts teacher with 20 years of experience! She is a Kripalu certified instructor and teaches at Kripalu -Center for Yoga and health. Her deep knowledge in Shaolin Kung-Fu, Tai Chi and Chi Gung shine through her teachings! Her dedicated years of practice show up in her yoga as she shares the essence of movement, breathing and being! Nina offers workshops, trainings, and retreats throughout the world. 

Erin Casperson

Dean of the School of Ayurveda at Kripalu center 

Erin Casperson is the Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, and a 500-hour Kripalu Ayurveda-Yoga teacher. She is a graduate of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and has continued her studies in Ayurveda both at Kripalu and in India. A passionate, heartfelt, and enthusiastic teacher, Erin loves sharing how the ancient practices of Ayurveda can be applied to modern-day living. An outdoor devotee, Erin has many years of hiking and backpacking experience in the New England woods and has summited all 48 4,000-foot mountains in New Hampshire.

Kathryn Costa

Author of "The Mandala Guide Book"   

Kathryn Costa is an artist, writer and educator whose passion can be summed up in three little words, “create and connect.” Since she started blogging in 2008, Kathryn has inspired people from 175 countries with her personal stories and artwork. Kathryn’s workshops help people to find clarity, let go of fear, embrace their dreams and explore their creativity. In October 2014, Kathryn decided to challenge herself to create 100 mandalas in 100 days and invited her friends online to join her. Within a year, the 100 Mandalas Challenge and Community has quickly grown to include thousands of mandala enthusiasts from all over the world. Kathryn is the author of “The Mandala Guidebook: How to Draw, Paint and Color Expressive Mandala Art” published by North Light Books.

Cristie Newhart

Dean of Yoga at Kripalu Center   

Cristie Newhart is the Dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga.  She is a Reiki Master with an intuitive approach to healing gleaned from her more than 20 years of practicing and teaching yoga, shamanism, and biomechanics. Soulful, accessible, and compassionate, Cristie is an insightful guide into the inner world; she empowers her clients by helping them tap into their innate wisdom for well-being. 

Lee Albert

Founder of “Positional Therapy”


Lee Albert is the author of “Live pain free” He has developed a unique system to deal with painful conditions in the body which are caused by muscle imbalances. He implements his ” positional therapy and teaches how to recognize and correct these imbalances through proper selection of yoga poses can reduce or eliminate many painful conditions. When the body is in balance many conditions such as low back and neck pain, sciatica, knee pain, and other ailments simply melt away.

Jurian Hughes

E-RYT 500, YACEP, MFA, is founder of the Yoga of Voice; co-creator of The Yoga of Yes; a Let Your Yoga Dance® teacher trainer; voice coach; personal mentor; writer; speaker; and theatre performer known for her passionate, playful and engaging teaching style. As a senior faculty member of the Kripalu School of Yoga, Hughes has led thousands of workshops and programs and trained more than 1,000 Kripalu yoga teachers since 2006. In addition to her extensive teaching experience, Hughes has a long theatrical resume spanning Broadway, off-Broadway, Europe, film, television and the voice-over industry.
